MT5 (My top 5) February 2020 Music Post

Hello, blog readers! How are you guys enjoying February? The weather has been incredibly good this year and it’s terrifying haha. I just don’t know what Spring will bring us lol. Now, I have such a fun post for you millennial music lovers or just music lovers out there! Well, in my opinion I think it’s fun a post haha. In this post I will share 5 songs I’ve been listening to a lot this month because I love sharing things I like haha. The songs that I’m going to share in this post are songs from today’s hits. So you’re either going to be familiar with the songs or not familiar with the songs haha. But, either way I hope you enjoy this post. Now, on with the post!

5. Dance Monkey by Tones and I

I discovered “Dance monkey” by Tones and I on the iTunes Charts. It was the number 1 song at the time. Then I saw the song was also the number 1 song in different countries. So I was really intrigued to see what Tones and I and this song was all about. So I listened to the song and I liked it. But, I felt that it was super auto tuned and thought she probably didn’t really sound like that. But, I was so wrong. She appeared on Jimmy Fallon‘s show and performed the song live. And she sounded pretty much how she does on the song. She showed us haha. Here’s the link if you interested in seeing the performance. I think her voice is really unique. She’s in a league of her own and I really admire that. You can’t compare her voice to anyone. The lyrics are pretty much self explanatory, but wanted to share an interesting story from Tones and I describing the process of how “Dance monkey” came about. Check it out below!

4. hot girl bummer by blackbear

Honestly, before listening to “hot girl bummer” by blackbear I had never listened to his music. The only thing I knew about him is that he dated Bella Throne that one time. And that’s old news haha. I discovered “hot girl bummer” while listening to Apple Music’s Today’s hits playlist. While I was listening to the song for the first time I was like this song is alright. But, after I kept listening to it I couldn’t help but sing “This that hot girl bummer anthem. Turn it up and throw a tantrum” haha. I ended up really being into the song. It’s insanely catchy and it stays in your mind long after you play the song haha. It’s a bop. And I like how he holds a tune while saying “f*** you“. Like, that’s professional swearing right there lol. Lyric wise I knew that blackbear wasn’t enjoying his summer obviously. But, I found this article that explained the song a bit further. I totally feel for him after reading this. Life can be tough if you’re introverted. I know the introverted life all too well haha. There are two videos for this song. There’s a low budget version (the fan favorite) and there’s a big budget version. I honestly like both versions equally. Both videos hits you in different ways because the vibe in both videos are different from each other. 3. Blinding Lights by The Weeknd

The Weeknd is back y’all! And he’s ready to kill the game….again haha. I’m a big fan of The Weekend so when I found out last year he was releasing new music I was stoked. I listened to “Blinding Lights” the same day it was released and I was a fan from the first listen haha. If I could describe this song in a few words I would call it 80’s magic flow. I love the whole 80’s vibe it has to it. I like when artists brings old music melodies back. The melody also has a fun sound that’s also versatile. This song could be played in a blockbuster movie or it could be in a video game. I low key play this song whenever I play Mariokart lol. It just has that vibe/flow to it haha. And of course the song is insanely catchy. There isn’t a song the Weeknd can’t make catchy haha. The lyrics are pretty straight forward. It’s like a message of love being lost and he talks about missing someone and never letting them go. I feel like this song is about Bella Hadid. I just wish they just stay together for Pete’s sake. It’s hard keeping up with them lol. The video for “Blinding Lights” was something else. I almost don’t know how to describe it. All I know is that he’s super high and he’s having quite an adventure haha. I also love how people in the comments were saying his character in the video was a mix of Michael Jackson and The Joker lol. I see the resemblance haha. 2. You should be sad by Halsey

I absolutely adore Halsey‘s look above! She’s such a trendsetter! If you guys didn’t know I have mad love for Halsey. I wish she was my bff haha. I discovered “You should be sad” on Apple Music’s Today’s hits. When the song played for the first time I didn’t look at my phone to see who was singing because I was too busy studying. As the song was playing I was like “this sounds like Halsey“, but the song sounded like a pop country song and I know Halsey doesn’t do country. So at first I assumed that it was some new country artist, but as the song kept playing I knew it had to be her. Like, I know my girl’s voice haha. So I looked at my phone and indeed it was Halsey singing. I was shook haha. I loved the whole country pop thing she was doing. If I could describe this song in words I would call it “Pop Princess meets the Wild Wild West” haha. It’s just that vibe. I love that she’s exploring different genres like rock and country. I like people who can be versatile, but still stay true to themselves. I’m a really big fan of the song. The lyrics are pretty much self explanatory she’s grateful to have left a cheating ex. She talks about the way her ex treated her and knows how sad he must be that she left him. So I’m glad she escaped that relationship and moved on. So after listening to the song I had to watch the music video for it. After watching the video all I could say is “Wow!”. I was speechless to be honest. Did you see her figure in the video? It’s absolutely insane. I need to do what she’s doing in the gym lol. She looked amazing. And I loved her little cowgirl dance moves in the video. They were cute. But, overall loved the video. 1. Black Swan by BTS

I usually always explain who BTS is in my blog posts, but I’m sure you guys know who they are by now. No explanation is needed for the biggest Kpop boyband in the world anymore lol. I was super excited for this song to be released because I pretty much love anything BTS makes lol. When I found out it was called “Black Swan” I knew the song was going to have some deep meaning/message behind it. Yeah, I know most BTS songs have deep meanings/messages behind them, but I knew it was going to have a message about something I’ve never thought of and I was correct. When I first listened the song I watched the art film video for it. I’m not going to lie the dancers in the video sort of distracted me from the lyrics because they danced so beautifully. So I listened to the song again and read each lyric word for word. You guys this song is deep. The lyrics are pretty much about the group being worried about losing their love for music. The thing they love most. The thing that inspires and motivates them. Honestly, that is a scary feeling of what moves you stops moving you. And this is a thing that happens all the time to people due to life getting in the way and listening to society. Losing something you love or loved is like a painful death. I really like the lyrics because we don’t hear too many songs about dealing with personal fears. I really love how vulnerable and open BTS were in these lyrics. And lastly, I loved the music in the song. The melody was like a beautiful, sweet, but dark lullaby. I’m a fan. My top 5 favorite music videos from BTS

Hello my fellow blog readers! I hope you are enjoying July so far. If you guys didn’t know I’m a huge fan of BTS! I love their music so much! I just admire how hardworking they are and how they are always doing things to keep their fans happy. That’s dedication!

If you guys didn’t know Yoongi is my bias of the group. He’s so dreamy, cool and swaggy haha. 😎

So the other day I took one of those random quizzes on which BTS music video are you and I got Fire 🔥! I am happy with the result because that’s one of my favorite BTS videos ever. After taking the quiz I thought to myself “What is my favorite BTS video at the moment and what are my top 5 fave BTS videos”? So instead of just keeping my answers to myself I decided to share my answers with my blog today haha. And let me tell you it wasn’t easy. It took some soul searching since I love all of their videos, but I made my 5 choices. So let’s see my answers below.

1. DNA

Omg, DNA is not just my favorite BTS video, it’s one of my favorite music videos of all time! The video is so beautiful to me. This video was full of fun, bright, and exciting colors! Most of their other videos usually have a darker vibe to them if you know what I mean. So I really like this new change.

If I could describe this video in one word it would be “Visuals” haha. The boys looked amazing especially the visual kings Jin and V! Holy fricking crap! If I wasn’t so loyal and faithful to Yoongi, Jin would of totally bias wrecked me. I swear to god lol. His black hair gave me life and his voice was perfect! 😍

And V looked like a model! Why hasn’t Gucci offered him a gig yet haha? If they have please correct me. I would buy anything he models haha. He also looked really cool with charcoal/grey hair. He was breathtaking! 😍

So those two really stood out to me in this video. Sorry Yoongi. I still love you to pieces haha. But, I was obsessed with his blue hair. It looked great on him. 💙💙💙 This gif of him below is everything though! 😵💙😵💙

And the choreography was so cool! It looks like the guys were having so much fun! I have to learn the choreography someday haha.

DNA is one of those videos where I could watch it over and over again without getting tired of it. The video is so cool and stunning!

2. Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) 🎤 🎤 🎤

Mic Drop is one of their coolest videos to date! I love how underground, but fresh the video is. The boys looked so cool and dope! They totally gave me bad boy vibes even though they are a bunch of softies haha. So shout out to their stylists.

I also thought the special effects were really cool in the video. I loved how Jungkook and Jimin were in the air in slow motion in that one scene. After watching this video I totally wanted to learn how to do special effects haha.

In this video Yoongi and J-hope really stood out to me. I’m totally obsessed with J-hope’s burgundy hair! I think this hair color fits him so well! And his dancing was everything! Nothing new I know lol. I just really admire the way he dances. He definitely went all out in this video.

And Yoongi on the other hand was too much for me to handle. Let’s just say Yoongi with white hair in a headband will be my forever weakness. 😵😵😵 He looked so fricking good, even though he always look so fricking good haha. White is definitely his color! And when he says “eomma” in his rap do you get chills lol? Whenever I hear him say that I get chills all down my spine haha. 😍 Hope that’s not weird lol. 😅

And let’s talk about the choreography! The choreography is fire! 🔥🔥🔥 I also think it’s one of their coolest choreography to date! It makes me wish I could dance like them haha.

3. Save Me

Save Me was the second BTS song and video that I ever listened to/watched. Whenever I watch the video I always think of the phrase “Less is more”. The video is just simple and beautiful. There’s not a lot of things going on in the video. It’s really raw and I like that because I don’t have to think about theories and things lol. It’s just the guys dancing and singing in one place. The video is perfection. 😌

The members that stood out to me most were Jimin and V. This is the first video that I really paid attention to Jimin’s dancing skills. His moves can be very dramatic. And when he sings his part in the song he really convinced me that he needed saving. When I first heard this song I wanted to buy a plane ticket to Korea and see if I could go and save him somehow haha. 😂

And let’s about V and his red hair! Holy crap! He looked smoking good haha. 😍😍😍Red will be my all time favorite hair color on him! He can pull off a lot of colors though.

But, fun fact V became my very first bias when I saw this video. 😮 I thought he was so perfect! But, after watching other videos from the group RM got in the way, and then Yoongi stole me from RM. So that’s that lol. 😅

I know I keep talking about their choreography, but let’s talk about their choreography! The way they dance in this video is so beautiful and I just love how in sync they are! I mean they are always in sync, but this video made me realize how being in sync can be such a beautiful thing haha. I just love the dance break they do before Yoongi raps. It’s just memorizing! 😍

4. Fire 🔥🔥🔥

I absolutely love Fire! It’s so fire haha.🔥🔥🔥 This is the very first BTS song and video that I ever listened to/watched! After I heard this song I was hooked and wanted to hear more from the group. So I will always have a soft spot for this song. ☺️ I love the video from beginning to end. ❤️ But, I’m not going to lie I do prefer the beginning of the video lol. 😝 I love how the camera is focused on Yoongi. He looked so fricking good! Holy Crap! 🔥

And I love how cool and laid back he is when he sets the man on fire lol. It’s like he does this all the time or something haha. And sliver is also his color! 😍 Yoongi looks good with any hair color to be honest. 😍

But, other than just the beginning of the video, I think the video is super fun, exciting and it makes me want to party haha. It’s such a cool and fun video! 😎

I love the scene where all the guys are in the room and Jin is laying down while V is ironing his shirt haha. Jin’s expression is so funny! 😂

The members that stood out most to me were Yoongi (obviously lol), RM and Jungkook! Again, let’s just appreciate Yoongi lol. He looked amazing, and of course swaggy! 😎

RM looked so fricking cool! I loved his outfits, his mint hair and deep voice! 😍 Doesn’t his deep voice gives you chills? I hope it’s just not me lol. His presence in the video made me knew right away that he was the leader. 😎

And this is the first video where I really paid attention to Jungkook’s dancing. I could watch Kookie dance all day! 😍 His moves are perfection and his voice is perfection! I wonder what it feels like to be so talented lol. He was born to be a star!

The choreography for the song is so amazing! It’s super fun! This is the first choreography that I pretty much learned from BTS and it is not easy lol. 😂 This is the move I can’t never get down no matter how hard I try lol. 😂

Again, I’m a big fan of the video! If I could describe this video in one word it would be “Iconic“. If you haven’t seen the video check it out below!

5. Blood Sweat & Tears

Omg, when I first watched the video for Blood, Sweat & Tears is was too much for me too handle lol. I didn’t have a bias that day because each member wrecked me one by one. They all stole me from each other lol. I didn’t think it was possible, but it’s possible. 😅 Blood, Sweat & Tears is their sexiest video yet!

Each member stood out to be honest, but Jimin stood out most to me. If you are a army or a new army Jimin either became your bias or bias wrecked you in this video lol. Jimin looked amazing! I mean he always looks good, but Jimin’s looks were extra in this video.

And the way he looks at the camera is a lot to take in. He’s like “You’re mine now and there’s nothing you can do about it” lol.

And the way he dances is so beautiful! So dramatic and fabulous. But, again everyone looked great in the video.

Jin looked like the prince that he is and I’m totally obsessed with his hair. That’s my fave hair color on him to be honest. 💖💖💖 I just really wished he had more lines in the song.

J-hope gave him life when it was his turn in the song! I loved all of his scenes! He looked great! ❤️

V’s scenes were a lot to handle as well. 😓 His deep voice was too much, his scene underneath the sheets was too much and his blonde was everything! He looked incredible with blonde hair. 😍 He is such a bias wrecker!

RM and Suga looked fantastic! Omg! Yoongi gave me sexy vampire vibes and RM sounded and looked like a king. 😍♥️😍

And Jungkook looked like a rockstar! He danced really sexy and his moves were stunning!

I like the scene when Jungkook is in bed and looks at the camera. It’s like he’s staring into your eyes and saying “You’re mine now and I know you like that” lol. Maybe I’m the only one who thinks that.

But, this video is kind of confusing to me. 😅 The video is kind of old now and I still don’t know what’s going on haha. 😅 But what BTS videos aren’t confusing nowadays though. 😅 But, overall I really enjoyed the video and I love the choreography! It’s killer, and of course sexy!

MT5 (My top 5) Country Music Post 4/IV

Happy December my blog readers! I hope everyone is enjoying this chilly month! ❄️😄❄️ As I mentioned before in my previous blog post I’m flaky when it comes to blogging lol. 😅 I’m always busy with something so I don’t blog as often as I should. But, luckily I found some free time and dedicated that free time to today’s music post! Today’s post is all about today’s country hits! 😄 I’m going to share and talk about five country songs that I’m currently obsessed with! This is my first time creating a post that’s dedicated to country hits, so I’m pretty excited haha. To be honest, I never cared for country music until like 3 months ago lol. Crazy right? I don’t know what was wrong with me back then. But, luckily my common sense has kicked in and things are all good now haha. 😅 So since I’m a newbie to country music and don’t know many country artists I am open to country suggestions. So if you guys have any country suggestions let me know in the comments! 😊 Lastly, most of the songs I will be sharing are from Apple Music’s “The A-List: Country” playlist. So shout out to Apple Music lol. Now, on with the post!

My first top country song of the month is “You Broke Up With Me” by Walker Hayes! I discovered Walker Hayes’s “You Broke Up With Me” while listening to Apple Music’s “The A-List: Country” playlist a couple of months ago. So when the track first played I was really excited to hear it because Walker Hayes was an artist I’ve never heard of, and I thought he was hot from the album cover lol. 😝 So after listening to the song for the first 45 seconds I was obsessed with it! ❤️ I thought it was crazy catchy and I also like the fun beat that it has! What I also like about “You Broke Up With Me” is the message. At first I thought the song was about a guy who’s out partying doing his own thing with his friends and his ex walks in and starts flirting with him and then the guy is like “Hey, your the one who broke up with me.” But, Hayes told PEOPLE magazine that the song is actually about Nashville. He’s been in Nashville for 13 years and had deals and lost them. So he knows what it’s like to be hot and having everybody wanting to collaborate with you. But, he also knows what’s it like to be abandoned from your “so called friends” once you’ve been dropped from a label. So after Hayes got another record deal the people who previously abandoned him were at his doorstep ready to be friends again and Hayes thought “Hey, I thought you guys broke up with me.” So that’s kind of how the song came about. So I like that the song means something entirely different than what I thought it originally meant haha. 😝 So there are two videos for this song. I thought the first music video (which is an audio music video) that was released was super fun and chill. 😎😎😎 I think the song’s quirky vibe definitely fit the video! The second music video (which is the official music video) that was released was just okay to me. I was expecting more. I thought I was going to see Walker break out some fun dance moves while hanging out with some friends, and most importantly, I was expecting to see his ex in the video desperately trying to get back with him. And there was no ex-girlfriend to be found in the video. 😕 So I was sort of disappointed, but I will say that official music video made me appreciate Walker’s good looks more haha. My second top country song of the month is “It Ain’t My Fault” by Brothers Osborne!

A few months ago as I was casually scrolling through the iTunes Charts, I discovered a song called “It Ain’t My Fault” by Brothers Osborne. It was like number 9 or 10 on the charts at the time, so since it seemed like a popular song I wanted to preview it. After listening to the 60 second preview of the song on iTunes I knew that I had to listen to the rest of the song because I loved what I heard lol. 😝 So I listened to the song from beginning to end on Apple Music and thought the song was so fricking awesome! 🙌 The song has such a cool laid back vibe to it and it’s super catchy! I never get tired to listening the song! I’m also really obsessed with the lead singer’s deep voice. He sounds so cool and mysterious to me haha. 😎 I think the video for this song is pretty interesting. The video is about 4 robbers (that are in presidential masks) that robs the Brothers Osborne’s pawn shop and during the entire video the robbers are running away from the cops. So overall it’s a entertaining mini movie music video, but there were still a couple of things missing. The first thing missing from the video is Brothers Osborne. I mean I know they were in the video, but they should of been in it more. They seem like such cool guys to me, so I just wanted to see more of them. The second thing missing from the video is cowboys haha. 🤠 The song totally gives me cowboy vibes so I thought that cowboys were going to be in the video lol. 🤠 So I think the video should of been about Brothers Osborne being outlaws from back in the old cowboy days, and during the entire video they are running from the law. I mean how cool does that version of the video sounds haha. 😄But, that’s just my opinion on how the video should of went. But, again I still found the original music video entertaining. My third top country song of the month is “Losing Sleep” by Chris Young!

Again, while listening Apple Music’s “The A-List: Country” playlist I discovered Chris Young’s “Losing Sleep”. Like with Walker Hayes, I was really excited to hear this track because he was an artist I’ve never heard of, and I thought he looked so fricking cool on his album cover lol. 😎 So when the song began to play I thought“ You know what, I like this song. I love the smooth laid back r&b vibe it has to it”. 😌 But, it seems like as soon as I thought that then suddenly the song’s tempo picked up and I was not expecting that haha. 😳 The second half of the song had such a cool rockish vibe to it, which I appreciate since I’m a huge fan of rock. 😎🎸😎 So I love that the song sounds like a country song mixed with rock and r&b haha. The video for this song was cute, but I was expecting something different. I thought it was going to be one of those concert music videos where we get to see Chris rock out on stage and do his thing haha. But, I still like how the video turned out. The video was sweet, romantic and kind of sexy all at the same time haha. ❤️❤️ Lastly, I thought that Chris and his leading lady made such a cute couple. My fourth top country song of the month is “Light It Up” by Luke Bryan!

“The A-List: Country” playlist is either updated weekly or every few days. So about a month ago the playlist got updated and the first track on the new updated playlist was “Light It Up” by Luke Bryan! I was really excited to listen to this song because I knew of Luke Bryan from seeing his songs on the iTunes Charts, by reading about him on social media, and by seeing him accept the awards that he won on awards shows haha. But, I’ve never gotten around to listening to his music and I don’t know why that is lol. 🤔 So after listening to the song it was stuck it my head all day. I mean all day lol.I really like the popish/rockish vibe that “Light It Up” has. 💖 I’m a big fan of pop music and rock music if you didn’t know lol. 😝 I’m also really obsessed with the electronic sounding piano riff that keeps repeating in the song. 😍 It’s such a cool hypnotic sound. I thought the video for this song was cool! 😃 I was not expecting NBA star Jimmy Butler to be in this video haha. I assumed the video was going to be about Luke waiting for his ex to light up his phone. But, I was wrong haha. So I liked that the video surprised me by Luke using another couple to act out the video. 😃 I wonder did Jimmy and Luke become good friends after filming this video haha. That would be so awesome if they did lol. Lastly, I’m really happy that the video had a happy ending. Since “Light It Up” is such a sad song I was expecting a sad ending, but again I was wrong haha. My fifth top country song of the month is “Reasons” by Jillian Jacqueline!

After listening to “Losing Sleep” on “The A-List: Country” playlist “Reasons” by Jillian Jacqueline played next. So like with Walter Hayes and Chris Young, I was really excited to hear this song because she was an artist I’ve never heard of! After, hearing the first 30 seconds of the song her voice sort of reminded me of Maren Morrisand I knew that I was going to love the song since I’m obsessed with Maren Morris haha. 😝❤️ But, by towards the chorus Jillian’s voice didn’t sound like Maren anymore, she sounded like…. herself I guess haha, and I really liked Jillian’s voice! ❤️😃❤️ So by the time the song went off I was obsessed with the song and her voice! So I totally had to repeat the song haha, and while listening to the song again I paid more attention to the lyrics and I found out the song is about falling out of love with someone that you thought you were going to be with forever, and then making the hard decision to end the relationship. So it’s a really confusing sad breakup song if you ask me haha. 😓 But, I really love how personal and raw the lyrics are. 😃 Those type of songs really touches me. 😢 The video for the song was just okay to me. 😕 I wish it would of been like a mini-movie music video where the actors (or Jillian herself) acted out what went wrong in the relationship and how they are both dealing with this confusing situation. But, that’s just me. 😕 But, overall it was a decent video. 😊 Jillian looked amazing and I felt like I understood her side of the story. MT5 (My top 5) Music Post 3/III

Hello, blog readers! 😁 I hope that you guys are enjoying August as much as I am! ☀️ I love August because it’s my birthday month lol. 🎉☀️🎉 So happy bday to me lol. 🎉 Gosh, I have been really flaky with this blog lol. 😕 Especially with the music posts. I am supposed to share my top 5 songs of the month with you guys every month, but the last time I posted a music post was back in April. 😅So I’m three months behind lol. 😅😅😅 But, it’s okay because I will make up for the lost time by posting 3 music posts this month. So this is going to be a fun month! 😁 So as usual, today’s post will be about 5 songs from today’s hits that I’ve been listening to a lot of lately. So on with the post! 😄

My first top song of the month is “Slow Hands” by Niall Horan!

I’m not going to lie. When I first heard that Niall was going to release “Slow Hands” I was kind of skeptical because I wasn’t a huge fan of his solo debut single “This Town“. 😕 I thought the next single of his was going to sound a lot like his first single. 😬 Please One Direction fans don’t bash me lol. 😭 I was upset with myself for not liking the song as much as I should since I love Niall. 😭 I used the word “was” because I am starting to like “This Town” now after hearing it many times lol. 😝 But, I really thought that his solo debut was going to blow me away, but unfortunately it didn’t. 😕 But, when I heard “Slow Hands” for the first time it blew me away. 😮 No, it blew my mind away to be more accurate haha. 😵 I love the soulful rockish vibe it has to it. I would of never thought that Niall would make a song like this. You know I’m used to him singing slow love ballads from One Direction or something like “This Town“, not something that has a cool sexy laid back vibe like “Slow Hands” lol. I don’t think I ever used that phrase before “cool sexy laid back vibe” lol. 😄 I personally think “Slow Hands” is one of the best songs of 2017. Ican listen to every day and never become tired of it lol.I did like the lyric video for this song. I expected it to be a pretty chill laid back video. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular since it’s a lyric video. I think that Niall should totally make a music video for the song. My second top song of the month is “Strip That Down” by Liam Payne featuring Quavo!

Speaking of more cool sexy laid back vibes haha, Liam Payne’s “Strip that down” is one of the sexiest songs of the summer!🔥☀️🔥 When I first heard that Liam was about to make his solo debut I totally freaked out lol. 😵 Again, if you guys have been reading this blog you should know that I’m a big One Direction fan. So I’ve been waiting for this single since One Direction first took their hiatus lol. 😝 So after hearing clips of “Strip That Down” that Liam posted on Twitter and Instagram, I knew that I was going to be a huge fan of the song lol. So when I heard the full song I became even a bigger fan lol. I love this song so much! It is my jam lol! 😁 Do people still use that phrase these days “my jam” lol? But, anyway. Ilove the beat of this song and I love the hip/hop/r&b vibe it has to it. 🎵 It makes you want to dance and have a great time! It’s definitely a great song to play at the club. 💃🕺🏻 Bravo Liam! 👏 I did enjoy the video of “Strip That Down“. The video was cool and there were a lot of great dancers and dance moves in it. The only thing I wished is that Liam would of danced more in the video. I mean with a song like that I thought he was going to get down lol. Again, do people even use that phrase “get down” these days lol? I do like “All I Do IsWin”, but mainly just the chorus. So when I saw “Wild Thoughts” on the iTunes charts for the first time I didn’t really care about listening to it. But, later on that day after I saw the song on the iTunes charts I saw Rihanna tweeting about the song. I said to myself “Why is Rihanna tweeting about this song? Maybe her and Dj Khaled are good friends or something.” So while I was reading her tweets I found out that she collaborated with Dj Khaled and Bryson Tiller for the song “Wild Thoughts”. I was like “Oh, so that’s why she’s tweeting about the song lol.” 😅 So since I’m a pretty huge Rihanna fan I was excited. I’ve been a fan of hers since she released “Unfaithful” lol. 😄 If Rihanna tells her fans to check out a song she collaborated in, I will check out the song and then I will buy it lol. That’s just how things are lol. 😝 So when I listened to the song I was crazy about it. 😄 It’s a super catchy song and the guitar solos are awesome. 👍 Even the part where Dj Khaled shouts his name doesn’t bother me haha. 😝 Any song that features Rihanna is a hit in my opinion lol. 👍 So from now on whenever Dj Khaled releases a single I will be more open to listen to it since I love “Wild Thoughts” so much. I like the video for this song as well. 😄 Rihanna outfits were so Rihanna, Dj Khaled’s son appearance made my day and his dad’s dance moves were something else I’ll tell ya lol. I also liked the scenes where Rihanna, Dj Khaled and BrysonTiller were all together. My fourth top song of the month is “Bad om

/img_9816.jpg”>I absolutely loveSelena! She is definitely one of my queens lol. I actually love most of Selena’s songs. ❤️ There’s isn’t a song of hers I hate lol. So when I heard that she was releasing “Bad Liar” I knew that I was going to love it. 😄 But, when I listened to “Bad Liar” for the first time I thought it was just okay. 😕 I didn’t love the song. 😕😕😕 I kind of expected the song to have vibes from her past songs like “GoodFor You” or “Hands To Myself”, but it didn’t. 😕 So I honestly forgot about the song until Selena tweeted that she was going to release a video for the song in a few days. I thought maybe I should give the song another shot before she releases the video. So I listened to the song again for the second time and guess what….Ibecameobsessed with the song haha. 😁😁😁 I don’t what my problem was, but thank god it is fixed haha. 😁😁😁 It’s crazy how catchy the song is! The song is constantly stuck inmy head lol. So once the video was released I was pretty pumped to see it haha. I watched it and I thought the video for the song was interesting, but kind of weird. It was interesting to see Selena play so many different roles in a music video, but then it was weird because in the video Selena is cheating on Selena with Selena, but Selena has a crush on Selena. 🙃 If you watch the video you’ll get what I mean lol. It’s a pretty crazy video lol. 😝 It’s one of my favorite Selena Gomez’s videos of all time to be honest lol. My fifth top song of the month is “Fetish” by Selena Go &a

ly just start liking “BadLiar” and then she releases another single that could possibly be better than “Bad Liar” lol. 😭 So even though I wasn’t ready for it I listened to it anyway haha. I really liked what I heard. 😄 I love whenyou listen to a certain song for the first time and you love it by the first listen. That’s what happen when I listened to “Fetish”. 😊 I like “Fetish” and “Bad Liar” equally, but “Fetish” is way more cooler and smoother. 😎 It sort of gives me “Kill Them With Kindness” vibes. It’s very laidback and chill. 😎 It’s another song thatstays stuck in my mind. Selena released two videos for “Fetish”. In the first video of “Fetish” it’s her singing the song, but you can only see her lips in the video. The second video of “Fetish” it’s an actual music video. I pefer the “Fetish” video with just her lips. 👄 To me this video is so cool and different. It’siconic! 👄 I’ve never seen a music video like it. But, that’s just my opinion though. The actual music video for “Fetish” is just okay to me. I didn’t really understand it much. 😕 I had to read some of the comments from the video to find out what was going on. So yeah lol. But, Ithink both videos areentertaining and interesting. I love this new vibe that Selena is giving us. It’s pretty awesome! MT5 (My top 5) Music Post 1/I

Good day readers! I hope you’re having an awesome week! My week has been so busy that I almost forgot to blog this week. Oopsies. 😬 This post today is about one of my favorite things in the world….music!!! 🎶🎶🎶 Music makes the world so much better right?🎵🌎🎵 Every month on this blog I’m going to talk about five songs that I’m currently obsessed with. The songs that I’m going to share in this post are songs from today’s hits. So if you’re a fan of old rock, old hip hop, classical music, etc, come back some other time. I’ll post some of my favorite tunes from different genres or old songs from the past later, but today is all about today’s hits. So on with the post! 

My first top song of the month is “Rockabye” by Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul and Anne-Marie! 

I remember the first time I heard this song, I was on my way home in the back of a cab and it played on the radio. 🎶 🚖 🎶 The cab driver turned the track up as soon as it came on. I could totally tell that it was his jam lol. 🤘When I heard it I thought it was fun catchy song, but I didn’t pay too much attention to the lyrics because I was tired and wanted to go home and cuddle with my cat lol. 😸 So I totally forgot about the song as the day went on. But, sometime last week I saw that the song was like number 3 on the iTunes Charts. Congrats to the group btw. I previewed it because I knew the name of the song sounded familiar, but I didn’t remember how the song sounded. Once, I previewed it I automatically remembered that it was the song that I heard it from the cab the other day. 😝Again, I thought it was a really catchy song and I thought I should buy it. But, as soon I was going to buy it I got a text and you know how that story goes lol. 😬  I totally forgot about the song again. What is wrong with me lol. Luckily, I discovered the song again the other day while I was listening to one of those Apple Music playlists. When it came on I was like dang it. 😖  I meant to buy this song last week, but I got distracted by a text. To be honest, I don’t even remember who texted me or what the text was about lol. 😂 So when the song played I paid attention to the lyrics without any distractions and I thought that it was such a beautiful song. It’s so touching and it made my eyes water. I know all mothers have that special feeling towards their child or children, but it’s sort of a different feeling when you are a single mother. You have more weight and responsibility on your shoulders because you are raising the child on your own. You also have to make so many sacrifices and do what’s best for the child. My mom was a single mother so this songs reminds me of her and what she had to do to make sure I had a pretty decent life. So it’s a pretty touchy song. 😪 This is my favorite Clean Bandit song by far. Sean Paul puts a cool spin to it and Anne-Marie’s voice is perfect for the song. She’s the artist to look out for in 2017. The video for this song was okay. I wish the video had more scenes of the mother and child. My second top song of the month is “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran!

I’m so happy that Ed is back making smash hits again. I didn’t know what to do with myself when he took last year off lol. 😭 So it was pretty sad year for me haha, but all that matters now is that he’s back and made some new music. 😁 “Thinking out Loud” was my favorite song Ed Sheeran song to date until I heard “Shape of You”. I loved this song when I first heard it. I normally don’t love a song by the first listen. I’ll have to hear it a few times before I really start to like it, but that didn’t happen with this song haha. I previewed it on iTunes when it was first released and I loved what I heard. ❤ I’ve never clicked the buy button so fast in my life lol. 🤣 I love the vibe of the song. It has like a Rihanna type of vibe to it and I find that so interesting. It’s almost like Ed singing a Rihanna song, but it still has that Ed Sheeran vibe to it. I find this so awesome because I’m obsessed with both artists. ❤❤ I think Rihanna should of totally played the girl in the video lol. It would of totally made my year lol. Just saying lol. But, the girl that was chosen was perfect for the role. I hate that she left Ed in the video for whatever reason, but I’m happy she came back at the end. It’s a really great video. It also goes really well with the song. I totally wanted to try out boxing after watching this video lol. 😝 It looks fun and I wish I could box with Ed. But, unfortunately that’s not going to happen. 😭😭😭 So I’ll just listen to the song while I watch one of those boxing workout videos and pretend that I’m boxing with Ed haha. My third top song of the month is “Not Today” by BTS!

Long live BTS! 🙌 I love this Korean boyband group so fricking much. ❤ They have been killing it lately with thier choreography and music. Their comeback songs of early 2017 are so great! BTS first comeback song “Spring Day” is such a cute sad little love song, but I like the message of their second comeback song “Not Today” better because it’s about not giving up on yourself on and fighting for what you believe in. I think that is such a important message for our generation. So I really enjoy listening to this song. It always gives me a confidence boost whenever I hear it. It’s also a great song to workout to lol. I loved the video for “Not Today”. It’s amazing! Their choreography was absolutely sick and they all looked great. RapMon looked so cool and that deep voice of his omg! Jungkook was doing his thing, being the superstar that he was born to be. Jimin’s pink hair was giving me life omg! V and that headband are a match made in heaven! 😇 J-hope bought the party to the video like how he always does! I wish Jin had more scenes in the video. It is so unfair lol, but I still loved the parts that he was in. And lastly, my dear swaggy Suga…will you marry me lol? His scenes were absolute fire and he looked so fricking good. 🔥🔥🔥 I also loved the location spots in the video. It was so underground and rad! I’m totally obsessed with this video. My fourth top song of the month is “I Feel it Coming” by The Weeknd!

Gosh, I love this song! 🖤 The weekend has made so many good hits! I thought “Earned It” was my jam, but then I heard “The Hills” and changed my mind lol. But, then he later released “I Can’t Feel My Face” and I was like this is my favorite Weeknd song for sure, but then that changed when “Starboy” came out and I was like seriously lol. 🙃 What are you doing to me bro. At that time I thought he couldn’t make a song better than “Starboy” and boy was I wrong lol. Once, I heard “I Feel it Coming” I knew that it was the one. 😍 It’s my fave Weeknd song of all time! Now, that may change when his next hit comes out though lol. 🤣 But, at this very moment this is his best song yet! Personally, I think it’s one of the best songs of 2017! I love that whole MJ vibe he has going on. But, I’m kinda confused by the lyrics though. Abel, what exactly do you feel coming lol? I mean seriously lol. The video for this song was okay. I did love that it felt like I was watching a old throwback video. I found that cool. My favorite part of the video is when everyone turned to stone. I’m not sure why that’s my favorite part lol, but I think that was a interesting concept for a music video. You don’t see videos like that too often. I was so totally getting Clash of the Titans vibes, but without seeing Medusa lol. What I didn’t like about the video is that Daft Punk were only in it for like 10 seconds. I was like seriously! 😵 One of the main reasons I wanted to see the video is because they were in it. They always give music videos that edgy futuristic vibe and I live for that vibe lol. I mean the video did have a futuristic feel to it obviously, but I didn’t get the vibe I was expecting to get. I’m gotta stop using the word “vibe” so much lol. My fifth top song of the month is “That’s what I like” by Bruno Mars!

Bruno is the king man! 🤴🏽Everything he touches turns to platinum lol. It’s so crazy. I think he’s one of the best artists of this decade! All of Bruno’s songs puts you in a certain mood. If you’re in the lovey dovey mood you could play “Just The Way You Are” or “Grenade”. If you’re in the partying mood you could play “Treasure” or “24k Magic”. If you’re feeling lazy you could play “The Lazy Song” lol. So “That’s What I Like” about Bruno’s music. Get it “That’s what I like” lol. So speaking of this song, it always puts me in a good mood whenever I here it. It’s catchy, it has a smooth beat, it’s fun and it makes you want to dance. The video for this song is so simple and I actually love that. Which is weird for me because I don’t like simple lol. There weren’t any half naked girls, no partying, no drinking at the club or no sight of the Hooligans. He’s alone in a grey room dancing with special effects. He’s partying on his own, he’s having a great time and the video turned out awesome! This video is a true example of how less is more. I think it was such a creative video. I can watch it over and over lol. His moves were smooth and he was never off beat. Bruno just kills it and does his thing haha.
